The Scooba 5800 is the first Scooba model made by iRobot. The Scooba 5800 can clean about 250 square feet on every battery charge using only about 2 oz solution with a quart of water. You don't have to purchase Clorox Scooba Cleaning Solution to do the job. You can use white vinegar instead.
The Scooba is known to work well on flat floors such as hardwood floors. It works great even on mud spots and food spills. It sometimes misses some hardened food spills, but it does clean very well.
If you have uneven floors like uneven Mexican style tiles, you shouldn't be buying the Scooba. It will get stuck. If the vertical offset is higher than 1/4", it will not only get stuck, but won't be able to get itself off also. If your floor is uneven and have some serious vertical offsets, a mop will be a better choice.

I’ve used Scooba 5800 for many years and it’s working great. I had to order some replacement parts, but it was expected when I purchased it. I can’t even imagine living without my Scooba!
